Last week after suffering a concussion whilst reaching for a pass from Eli Manning on team drills, Jeremy Shockey played for the first time since the incident. The event caused Shockey headaches, vomiting and sensitivity to light.
On August 4, the football player was very animated to rejoin the team and got ready for practice in his usually tight end position.
Some of the declarations the player gave confirmed that it wasn’t until August 5 he felt in better shape. Every day the Shockey feels better and is waiting so anxious for his total recovery, evidentially the season is just around the corner and he doesn’t want to lose it.
Defenders were instructed not to get too close to Shockey, making sure to avoid any possibility of any more collisions.
He is fully aware that such harm is not a game and if he wants to be part of the full season he has to take care of himself. All his teammates and his coach are trying to help out with the situation.
All the fans are waiting to see Shockey back and totally recovered on the field, some say the Giants are not the same without the player.
