One of the most import things you can do when trying to market a product online is build mailing lists. The goal is to be able to stay in contact with a group of people who are interested in what you have to offer. The reason it’s so important to build mailing lists is because it is highly effective free advertising that is always there and growing. It’s a so called “hot market”.

You see it everywhere and it has definitively proved to be true. Yet, there are so many wrong ways to build your list that it is easy for people to fall into the false advertising trap. I would highly discourage buying outside mailing lists (aka optin leads). You must create one yourself through your own advertising efforts.
These are essential tools for creating your own highly responsive email list:
- Autoresponder Service. Make sure the service you use has a good deliverability rate.
- Lead Capture Page. This is your first point of contact with a prospect, make your page attention grabbing. The goal here is to get the visitors name and email address
- Message Series. This is the content delivered to your lead through email. Don’t push too hard to sell anything, just give valuable information and suggest products that will help your list members acheive what they want.
You must design your lead capture page and message series to interest your target audience, people who will eventually buy from you. The message series should be as long as possible without repeating the same topics. This is a way to filter out the people who are not interested in your product, service or bizopp. Then the list of people who have finished the message series are super high quality leads which you can send offers to whenever you want!
