You may wonder how well your experience at the Big4 will convert when you go looking for a job in the larger marketplace. Stop worrying. Whether you are in emerging technology, serve as an auditor, or work with mergers and acquisitions, your skills are highly transferable.

When translating your current skills into the grist for your next job, remember that the values your current employer embodies can be the framework for your presentation of skills. Let's say that your particular Big4 company values service beyond all else. Touch on the many ways you have served your clients when you prepare your resume. How about the diverse range of skills and talent that the company looked for when it hired you? Detail those on the resume. If your company has valued your insights, give some examples of them.
